Ian Ignatius Lim: Day 2 in Wuhan

We had breakfast at Wuhan University's canteen. Decided on clay pot noodle to keep us warm. Not bad for the start but as he sips goes by, the clay pot became more and more disgusting due to the long soaking of hand-made noodle. After which, we had a tour around the school compound to familiarized the area. We visited our lecture hall and classroom that we will be using for the 6-weeks in WUST.

We exit the school to do some shopping and marketing for our needs during out stay here in WUST.Not to say the shopping mall is really that sort of alike to Singapore's one but its reasonably "shopable" small and unappealing but has everything inside.

Went to the supermart to get some cups, drinking water and etc.

After which, we had MacDonald for lunch. Complain about it is that the fries here is super salty. Its as if the salt is free of charge.U would have to experience it to know it. Tested the Pork burger but its not very fantastic but sure is a rare seen in Singapore's MacDonald as Singapore's MacDonald is halal but not the one in China.

We brought our international prepaid card for RMB50 with residue value of RMB40 with free incoming call. =)

After that, it is already about 6.00pm and that means dinner time! Went to a back alley just right behind the school to have our dinner. Suitable for Muslim as its halal certified. Its Beef noodle shop.

The student union initially had a plan for us to watch a romance movie “ Wall-e” But because of some technical problems, the show could not be played. But they had a self introduction session (more like a cross-interaction) we introduced ourself one by one using the mic. Our own LSCT student Jin Quan, Yi sheng and mei yi sang for us.We were greatly entertained by the local student with their singing and stuff.

After that, we went back dorm to rest.
