Day38 in Wuhan

Shopping is the word. Shopping is the trend. Shopping is what we did for the last few days left in Wuhan. Shopping is the most important thing in our mind now. Shop like we never did before =) Well remember we had MacDonald for breakfast in the morning and yeap, we went back to dorm to take a nap before going for shopping. We we were to go straight to shopping after K, we would of been dead tired and moody. So we went back for a rest. Reached dorm about 7.00am in the morning by cab and rested for about an hour or two. Off we go to Si men kou (司门口）for our shopping spree. Well our 1st time shopping there as it is strongly recommended by the local student that shopping there is suited for students like us. This si men kou that we went is roughly 40mins ride from our school taking service 588. This street is something like Bugis.. With lots of shop at both side of the street. But the thing is that none of it suited our fashion except for 1-3shops out of the 40-50shops there. We had lunch there and tried their local food street and it was fantastic.Seriously! we tried the 凉面(liang mien) and some sort of Chinese pudding cake which was wonderful. Seriously nice.. Enjoyed the food there. After lunch, we felt there there isn't much point to continue walking here so we cab to walking street（步行街） instead as i need to get some chopsticks as presents for my cousins and family members. So off we go to walking street. One super funny thing is that we spilt into group of 3 to cab there and we only came to realised that in the cab I'm in, we have no phone at all so it is impossible to contact us. Sad...So we waited and waited and wala.! we found them in a lady's appeal shop! yay! we're so smart. So this taught us to confirm who has phone then only we group accordingly. Well, i brought 2 pairs of exquisite chopsticks, brought some clothes and time sure passes by very quickly. It is already about 6.30pm and we had to reach back to WUST by 7.00pm as we have the farewell party to attend to. So we cab back to WUST. So it is already 7.15 by then we reached dorm and we had only 15mins to unload our stuff in our room and rush to the venue.. And yes we made it. We reached the venue at 7.26pm. Just minutes earlier before the whole event starts. Preparations were already done, Cakes, finger food, drinks and everything was prepared and all is ready to roll.. But today was a little special..It is Rocco's Birthday too so we sang him a birthday song and stuff as usual. Took lots of pictures and bonded even more with the locals. This farewell party is actually to thank the Student Union which brought us all around and accompany us. So as a form of appreciation, we LSCT and MDE made this party for them. Well, we had karaoke session and everyone was so high, followed by dancing and stuff and in the end ended with a BANG! All was successful and fantastic. Well everything comes to an end someday..A nice ending. For that night, we had majong session till about 4.00am and then went to take a nap so that we have the energy to shop again.
