Ian Ignatius Lim: Day 3 in Wuhan

Beep beep beep the alarm went off early in the morning 8.00am. Uhhh noooo its the 1st lecture since our days in Wuhan. Today's lecture topic will be History of hubei, location. Shruggling myself out of bed was the least on my to do list. But i had to. Took a hot shower and got ready for early morning lecture.As usual the 6 of us walked to the lecture hall. Upon arrival, we are announced by Mr. Chong that lecture is cancelled!! and it will be shifted to the afternoon at 1.00pm.Restless and stuff, we were told to fill up a form by the school which is the dormatory form of stay to be reported to the local authorities to comfirm our stay at WUST. After which, we headed to the nearby shopping mall and supermart once again to complete our list of buys. Brought bowl, cup, chopsticks and many more and the total sum up to Approx. RMB50+ which indeed wasnt expansive when converted to sing dollars. Coming to realise the fact that things there were of same price in Singapore. So to us Singaporeans its considered superb cheap.After buying all the basic necessities we needed. So we wanted to save the hassle of running around to source for our lunch, we settled ourself on MacDonal once again. Ate the Macspicy here. Not as juicy, tender and nice as Singapore's one.As usual the fries is salty but the hot chocolate is nice... After that, we headed back to our respective dorms and waited for time for our lecture to Hubei's history. During the lecture, our lecturer was a local Wuhanise named Xiao ling and english name is Sally.She has considerable good command of understandable english that took us away for a long 4hrs of lecture. Well being a typical Singaporean, our span of attention wasnt good so we started to build castle in the sky as you know history is a very dry subject.Drift drift and we started our usual cam-woring..

Caught some interesting part of the lecture where she introduced the 4beauties of China which are Xi si, Yang Gui Fei, Wang zhao jun and diao chan and their influence to the dynasty kingdom of China.

She too introduced to us some local food at Hang Kou and where to get cheap and good stuff. =)

The rest of the lecture was seriously too dry to take anymore..

After lecture, we went back to our dorm and waited for the Student union to take us out.

Met the gp of student union and they took us to their local Singapore food street at Jian7 which is a street of shopping center and food street.Our means of transport is the local taxi van there which can ride up to 7 adults and the ride cost RMB12. But the ride was sure a scary one. As traffic there is not very good and the car is allowed to go in any directions they like as long as they dun crash.We tried the local food there like dou pi ,tang bao and more. After dinner, we went to the shopping mall to play arcade and after that pool.

Headed back to WUST in "Hei Cer" which means black taxi and it takes 4 passanger and cost RMB10 and as usual it sure was a scary ride and yet safe.You have to try at least once to experience it.

We had a mass photo taking session on our own with the super sporting students from WUST student union.
