Day 8 in Wuhan

Had lecture today with Mr. Chong again on env. tech. Today’s lecture was on Toxicology. Lecture start at 1.00pm today.. As usual, Lecture was the norms. Before lecture, we met up with the rest of the group to have breakfast at the school canteen. As it was already about 12++, the canteen was about to end its business already as operating hours are from 11-12pm. Ordered some kind of fried kway tiao with egg topping. That cost RMB3. So lecture started..Mr Chong showed us a movie, " Step up 2" during our break. After the break, lecture went on for about half an hour or so. The class requested Mr. Chong to continue the movie till the end. So Jq and i went to the Bank just right beside the school to get my old RMB50 notes changed to the new one. Service there was good =) seriously. Took my queue number and waited patiently. The wait was not long just approx. 10-15mins as there wasn’t many people doing banking. Went back to class after that and cont. watching the movie.

After the movie, we went back to our dorm to rest and wait for dinner with Mr. Chong. During the time, Jer and some others went to play bball with the local student union student.

Mr Chong suggested we go to the nearby " Zha Jiang Mian" stall to have our dinner. The noodle was not say fantastic but not that bad. The noodle's sauce was nice but not the noodle. Its of total different taste as the one we had in Singapore. Its really miles apart in terms of flavour. The lady boss there recommended to us the Soy bean there which she claims proudly that its nice and fresh as its hand cooked and will go harmoniously along with the noodle.

The Soy bean there was totally different from those in Singapore as Singapore's one has more sugar syrup and those we had here goes stingy on sugar so as to emphasis more on the bean's original flavour and taste.

After dinner, we went to the back alley once again but this time with Mr. Chong to have our dose of healthy body cleansing of Gui Ling Gao. As usual had the norms which is satisfying =)
